A 13th century tower defense game, set before the invention of the balloon in 1824. You are the one and only guard protecting the largest defense tower.

One Guard was submitted to the js13kGames 2023 competition by Alpine Games. It earned competition recognition. Like every js13k entry, the entire game — code, art, and audio — fits in 13 kilobytes, a constraint that rewards focused, clever design over bulk. Nothing much happens here so you took the job.
